Barbara Tricarico loves photography: both taking photos and showing off other photographer’s work.
Her previous book, “Ashland Oregon”, and newest book, “Ashland Oregon, Day Trips”, showcase the best photos of Ashland and its surrounding areas.
Barbara Tricarico lived and worked in Northern Virginia for 40 years. There, she co-authored and photographed the book “Quilts of Virginia: 1607-1899”. Upon moving to Ashland in 2010, Barbara strengthened her lifelong passion for photography. She joined the Southern Oregon Photography Association and became active in the photography community. This led to two photography books: “Ashland, Oregon” (2013) and “Ashland, Oregon Day Trips” (2016).
Both books feature the work of some of the area’s best photographers, including Barbara’s.
Since moving to Ashland, Barbara and her husband Bill have become an integral part of the community. Barbara is an active member of the Ashland Chamber of Commerce. She and Bill volunteer with the Ashland Food Project, Ashland at Home, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the Ashland Independent Film Festival.
